Hitman Hart still a fan favourite

On Monday, March 23 we added Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows to the online Screening Room. In less than 24 hours, it was picked up by wrestling sites and blogs, resulting in over 100 complete viewings of the film in its first day. And this is a film that runs over an hour and a half long.

Between Hitman Hart and Carts of Darkness, I think it’s safe to say we’ve blown the “no one will watch anything over 9 minutes on the Internet” theory out of the water.

The film gives viewers a rare look at what goes on behind the closed doors of the pro-wrestling world, including Bret Hart‘s relationship with WWF owner, Vince McMahon, and definitive proof of the infamous Montreal Screwjob.

I was completely fascinated by the film, and my knowledge about wrestling is pretty scant. What did you think?

Note: There’s a 10th anniversary collector’s edition DVD of the film available for sale at The Real News Network.

  1. Great film ! Thanks ! And yes, people do watch things over 9 minutes when they encounter that level of quality.

    Thanks again.
