The Socalled Movie hits the big screen

After premiering at Hot Docs in May, and becoming available for “rental” on Youtube in the US, The Socalled Movie has come home to roost.

The Socalled Movie, Garry Beitel’s feature-length documentary about hip-hop/klezmer artist Socalled enjoyed its Montreal premiere at the Ukrainian Federation last Thursday (in the heart of Mile-End, Socalled’s own neighbourhood), and is now scheduled for a series of screenings across Canada.
