3 NFB films presented at imagineNATIVE

Vistas: Button Blanket, Zoe L. Hopkins & Dora Hopkins, provided by the National Film Board of Canada

We are pleased to announce that 3 of our productions have been selected for presentation at the 11th imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival.

Based in Toronto, imagineNATIVE is an international festival that celebrates the latest works by Indigenous peoples on the forefront of innovation in film, video, radio, and new media. Each fall, the festival presents a selection of the most compelling and distinctive Indigenous works from around the globe.

Aside from Button Blanket, featured above, 2 other NFB films will be screened at the festival this year. They are Lumaajuuq, a short film from the Nunavut Animation Lab and When all the leaves are gone, legendary NFB filmmaker Alanis Obomsawin‘s latest production.

Festival dates are October 20-24, for more information visit their website.

Congratulations to all!
