Classic Trailers

I’ve spent the past few days loading some classic NFB trailers into the Screening Room and, given the high nostalgia factor, thought it only fitting to highlight them here. There are earlier films from directors like Giles Walker and John N. Smith and represent some of the feature film work the NFB was doing in the mid-seventies and eighties.

There’s a big audience out there for trailers – short, easily digestible nuggets that cleverly summarize a film’s plot while providing entertainment value in the process. The best part about discovering these particular classics was coming across people I know, have worked with, and am working with right now.

Bonus points to anyone who can identify said people.

If you enjoyed these 2, you can catch the rest of them here.
