The Cannes Short Film Corner – Vote Now!

From May 12 – 20, you have a chance to vote online for your favourite short film amongst the finalists of the 5th NFB Short Film Competition at Cannes. A playlist of the films can be found on YouTube.

Ten films were selected from over 1,400 entries, more than twice the amount from last year. The Short Film Corner is the meeting place for young creators at the Cannes Film Festival, attracting submissions from more than 40 countries. The 9 films entered in last year’s competition were viewed over 193,000 in the NFB Screening Room at YouTube.com/nfb.

Simply watch the films here and use YouTube’s 5-star rating system. The winner will receive an HD MINI-DV camera and a mobile studio including a laptop and editing suite.
