3 animated shorts heading to Sundance

3 of my favourite animated shorts from the past year are heading to the 2010 Sundance Film Festival at the end of January.

Rains is a beautifully drawn short that depicts what happens during a sudden downpour:

Vive la Rose creatively illustrates a haunting, tragic folksong:

And Runaway is the latest short from Cordell Barker, who in my mind can do no wrong:

Sundance is the independent film festival and it takes place from January 21 – 31 in Park City, Utah.
