Live Tweeting event w/director Gesar Mukpo during the CBC broadcast of Tulku on Aug. 11 at 10 pm ET

On Wednesday, August 11 at 10 pm, Am I Reincarnated? Tulku will air on the CBC News Network as part of The Passionate Eye. In association with the broadcast, we’ll be having a live tweeting event on Twitter with director Gesar Mukpo (@chewyguru). Throughout the 10 pm ET broadcast, viewers can direct their questions to @chewyguru and use the hashtag #tulku to follow the conversation.

Tulku is a documentary about people who are born in the West but are believed to be reincarnations of old Buddhist masters. Gesar himself is one, and for his entire life he has been trying to figure out what this means. In the film, he sets out to meet others like him, young people struggling between modern and ancient times, between Eastern and Western cultures.

This is the first time we’re attempting a live tweeting event, so we’re hoping you’ll come out and play along. And if you’re not on Twitter, you can still follow the conversation on the CBC’s website, where they’ll be streaming the contents of the conversation through a widget on their Tulku page.
