Tom Perlmutter, head of the NFB, will be kicking off the West leg of the NFB Tour in Edmonton on November 22, followed by stops in Saskatoon on November 23, Regina on November 24 and Winnipeg on November 25. As mentioned in a previous post, the tour is part of our commitment to building and maintaining a strong connection with Canadians.

During these town hall style meetings, Tom is hoping to hear from you. He wants to hear about the stories that matter most to the people in these regions. At the same time, he’ll share information about the new directions the NFB is taking while ensuring that everyone knows about the myriad ways our collection is already accessible.

The Tour has already been in the Maritimes and Ontario. At each stop, Tom held lively discussions with people about the issues specific to their cities and communities. This is an opportunity to share your experience and help shape the way we connect with Canadians.

For more information on the tour, watch Tom’s personal video invitation. Then come join us at one of the locations listed below.

Hope to see you there!

  1. Is there a film by the NFB, about the NFB? That might help me explain it to younger people who may find themselves at my blog some day.

  2. I would love to get an mp3 of saskatoon’s gathering on the 23rd in that I brought the funny stuff…
