3 NFB films nominated for the Banff World Television Awards

Three NFB films have been nominated for the Banff World Television Awards, which take place at the Banff World Television Festival from June 7-10.

The three titles are:

  • Roadsworth: Crossing the Line (Arts & Performing Documentaries), about a Montreal stencil artist’s campaign to make his mark on the city streets.
  • Paris 1919 (History & Biography Programs), an inside look at the Paris Peace Conference that took place at the end of WWI.
  • Passage (History & Biography Programs), the story of what happened to British explorer Sir John Franklin and his crew of 128 men, as recounted by Scottish doctor John Rae.
