We’ve just announced a partnership with Cinema Politica, which is a great way to start off the new year.
Cinema Politica is a grassroots organization that arranges screenings of politically-themed Canadian films, on campuses and in communities, across Canada and abroad. With over 70 active chapters, they have the potential to reach millions of people.
The first film to kick off this partnership is The Coca Cola Case, a really interesting film about a small group of people who try to take down the multinational on the grounds of human rights issues (read: the kidnapping, torture and murder of union leaders in several different countries).
The film will enjoy a 22-city tour, including screenings across Canada and in Norway, New Zealand and Sweden. For the complete lineup, check the official press release.
Have you seen the film? What did you think of it? Leave your thoughts/reviews in the comment section below.
that is great news about the partnership and I’m so glad the NFB followed up on the idea I had all those many moons ago to collaborate with Cinema Politica
Bravo again and my best wishes to both parties!
