A cross-Canada adventure to showcase CAMPUS!

From January to March of this year, NFB National Workshop Facilitator Jessie Curell travelled across Canada, connecting with as many educators as possible, and telling them about the National Film Board of Canada and CAMPUS, the new home of NFB Education launched on January 27. Nine provinces, 1 territory, 27,000 teachers, 17 flights, 8 rental cars and plenty of meals later, she is back in Toronto to talk to us about her adventures.

From the Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse and the oddly named town of Flin Flon, Manitoba, to beautiful Saskatchewan and the Qu’Appelle Valley… the trip was an absolute success, revealing a country home to fascinating people, places and history. Teachers everywhere were excited to use NFB films and interactive productions in their classrooms, and though Jessie is happy to sleep in her own bed these days, she already misses the road, the Canadian landscape and the amazing people she met.
