By Carolyne Weldon

Documentary, News

May 18, 2010

The NFB’s Playing it Safe web documentary project won a Rosie for Best Digital Program or Project at the 2010 Alberta Film & Television Awards, held on May 15th.

The daring initiative paired up a group of high risk Canadian youth with peer filmmakers to create, edit and produce films about the youth’s lifestyles, safety challenges and choices.

Congratulations to all involved!
