Stress and anxiety can come from high expectations and pressure to succeed. The pressure can come from teachers, parents, siblings, peers, or even strangers on social media. It’s important to talk to students about being aware of the various social pressures that exist for young people to live up to unrealistic expectations of “success” and to remind them that there is more to life than their achievements.
